[aisle] Have you painted metal library shelves?

I am curious too.  I have painted metal chairs with acrylics and they
are...so so.  The rusty areas start to bleed through the paint and it chips
off.  I have heard spray paint works better, but I have personally had
difficulty keeping the spray paint even.
