[aisle] Library Schedule - Elementary School

We are also looking at changing up our schedule. Thank you to everyone
that's responded!

Currently, during non-Covid times, I get 40 minutes once a week (give or
take). I use about 20-30 for a lesson and 10 to check out. This varies a
bit based on grade level as K takes a lot longer to check out than 5th
grade.

During Covid we've gone to a quarters schedule. I see 2 grade levels 4
days a week for 1/2 hour. Check out is separate and on their own (this has
had very little success). While I like the continuity of seeing the kids
daily, only seeing them for 1/4 of the year has its drawbacks too. I have
to have 1st grade read the Monarchs on their own this year because I won't
see them until 4th quarter.

I'm hoping to find a happy medium where I get to see the kids more often,
but don't have big gaps for them either. I'm open to any suggestions- even
if you aren't currently using them. Thank you!
