There are a couple anthologies featuring Latina protagonists:
-Amazons, Abolitionists, and Activists (Ten Speed Press)
-Puerto Rico Strong (Oni Press)

Nonfiction
-Photographic: The Life of Graciela Iturbide (Getty)

Fiction Titles
-America Chavez (Marvel)
-Antihero (DC)
-Quince (Fanbase Press)

I got these recommendations from a teacher that has written curriculums for schools on using comics in the classroom. He’s presented at comicons and educational conferences across the country. And he teaches/is from in the south burbs of Chicago!

Anyone who is looking to increase their graphic novel knowledge should follow him on social.  He’s @comics_teacher on Twitter and Instagram and has a YouTube channel as well. This is not a paid advertisement. LOL  [😂]  He’s just a good friend and a great resource.

Can anyone recommend a graphic novel that has a Latina as a main character? (any genre)

I also need a recommendation of a Historical Fiction novel with a Latina as the main character, please.
