[aisle] Question about contacting authors

I would say that from following authors on Twitter the feeling I get is
that they LOVE to hear from students, but HATE when it's a requirement for
a class or assignment. For instance, a teacher telling a student that they
have to ask specific questions or that the author MUST respond because the
kid's grade depends on it. Anyone else active on Twitter get the same
feeling?

But besides that, I would say go for it! Reaching out to authors is a
really fun experience!
