[aisle] Regular, Young Adult or not at all in a middle school?

I have YA for all...Most books are YA stickered. Also, I remind them if it
makes them uncomfortable bring the book back and we'll find them something
else. During orientation I add that if they know their guardian doesn't
want them reading YA yet, steer clear. Finally, I have an 8th grade only
section. These books are from past Lincoln, Illinois Teen Reader's Choice,
lists. If they are leveled on the Perma Bound site 7-12, I'll order them.
If the books off the list are labeled 9-12, I tend not to purchase them
until after I've read them. My 8th graders can also order any book from the
HS through inner library loan. My mature 8th graders, most in AT, sometimes
take advantage, most do not.
