[aisle] Lexile Scores

Has anyone noticed that the majority of newer YA books do not have Lexile
scores available?
I check several resources, such as lexile.com, Titlewave, and even WorldCat
to look up other libraries. I began noticing this in 2020.

I contemplated whether a certain time period is needed before a lexile
score is released, but that isn't the case. For example,* The Wild Ones *by
Nafiza Azad was released on  August 3, 2021, and there is a lexile score
assigned to that title.  *The Taking of Jake Livingston *by Ryan Douglass
was released on  July 13th 2021, and there is not a lexile score assigned
to that title. That is one of many, many examples.

Any insight would be appreciated. I only use Lexiles as a guide sometimes,
so it isn't detrimental to our programing. I just thought it was odd.
