Todd,
I can’t agree with you enough. The virtual option would have been wonderful to have. My district reject me going in person due to something about a virus.
When I emailed our registrar to request for a virtual option, it was rejected, because they don’t have staff, equipment nor money to pull it off. Ouch. The most important conference of the year and no one from my school district has the opportunity to attend. :( I’m disappointed, but understand some limits.

I was registered to go in person, was told I'd only be permitted to go if it was virtual, got (thought I got?!?!?) the letter that said it WAS BEING OFFERED VIRTAULLY....and am waiting to hear back from my DO if this will be approved.

If I could make a suggestion....I live in Joliet IL. Peoria is quite a hike for me and with no subs and teacher shortage it makes going to Peoria totally impossible. Having the presentations available virtually would enable so many more people to attend the conference and of course there sould be a virtual fee. Just something to consider for the future for folks who can't physically attend. The only blessing that has come out of this pandemic is that we have been forced to live and do outside the box. Thanks for your consideration.

AISLE is committed to providing the safest conference going experience possible. Attendees will be expected to comply with all Illinois COVID mandates, including wearing masks. Attendees are expected to be vaccinated and/or ensure that they are COVID negative before attending.
We will follow all current protocols from the state, University of Illinois, and the iHotel and Conference Center.
At this time, that means:
- You MUST wear a mask at all times.
- Social distancing will be maintained when possible. The venue is large enough to accommodate social distancing.
- Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the conference center.
