[aisle] Recommended school library budget

Hi all!
We are hoping to increase our library budget next year and our superintendent is asking if there is a recommended amount to spend per student. I can find averages spent but not recommended amounts. I checked ALA and AASL but haven't seen specific amounts. Does anyone know of any or could you point me in the direction of some resources?
