I have a combination of cork bottoms and plain bottoms.  A few years ago I
had purchased the book supports with rubber bottoms from Demco, but they
were terrible.  It didn't take much movement to get the rubber to roll up
under the base and get sticky stuff all over the shelves. There was no way
to straighten it out, so I ended up just peeling it off.  I called Demco
and they sent me replacement cork bottoms instead of the rubber.  My vote
is for cork.  😀
