[aisle] copyright question

I had a teacher come in and ask for help scanning a workbook into an app
called SnapType for a student. The student has an IEP for accommodations
and modifications due to OT issues. My gut is telling me this is a no-no
due to copyright, even if it is possible to do.

We, of course, are checking to see if there is a digital version of the
workbook.

Just wondering if I am missing something that would make this allowable.
