[aisle] K-6 Library Visit Time

 Good afternoon. Our Coordinator of Literacy and Libraries is looking for
information. This is her first year working in our district. Here are her
questions for K-6:

   - How much time is allotted to students now?
   - How was that determined?
   - Is there anywhere I can go to get even recommendations if not
   requirements for time in the library?

Unfortunately I was unable to answer two of her questions so I told her I
would ask all of you because you are so wonderful! Is there a requirement
or is this a subjective determination made by each school district?

We currently see K-6 students for 30 minutes. I have been in my role for 18
years and this has been the time allotted. I don't know how the time was
determined.

Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
