Hi all,

I'm sure you all saw the Chicago Tribune letter that ran last week. I was so excited by it, that I had to talk to the authors. We recorded our conversation on Zoom and then published it on the My Library Is... Blog<https://www.mylibraryis.org/blog/my-library-conversation-about-why-school-libraries-matter>. A huge thank you to Andrea Perrin, Janine Asmus, Gail Meyer, & Robyn Whitlock for spending some time to talk about school library advocacy!

Finally, a plea: there's been a lot of talk on here about advocacy documentation. If you have a letter, an infographic, or any other kind of document that you are sharing with parents, principals, administrators, or board members, to demonstrate the value of the school library, please send it to me. You can email me directly (off-list). I'll add them to our My Library Is... collection and share them when we can organize them properly. Thanks!
