[aisle] Did Covid Ruin Your Library Vibe?

You are not alone. We have also added board games, coloring pages and
puzzles that kids can do during study hall and lunch. We are slated to
have comfort dogs in our space during the week before finals. We have a
brand new space that is open to students during lunch and lots of comfy
seating, so getting kids to come in is not a problem for us. To increase
circulations, we added a bunch of graphic novels through a grant, and did a
March Manga Madness program during the month of March. We also have a
Booktok display of titles made popular on the tiktok platform. We would
love to start a First Chapter Friday program with our English teachers next
year as well.

If we teach a child to read but fail to develop a desire to read, we will
have created a skilled nonreader, a literate illiterate.
