[aisle] Are there still middle school libraries?

Wow!  That’s sad. 
I’m in a 7/8 junior high. Last year our circ went up 23% with the Covid years removed. I see all 700 students 2x a month and this year science kicked off checkouts with a breakout edu. 
I feel like I am that I fill an important spot between curriculum and safe space.
