Hello collective group!

I need some help finding some answers. When I was a district cataloger, I was required to get a barcoder certificate. For those of you who have catalogers and they do not hold a library degree, do you know if the barcoder certificate is still required or is available to take somewhere? It would have to be specific to library barcoding obviously. I have done some searching and am not finding much!

Any advise or comments would be appreciated and helpful!

But libraries are about freedom. Freedom to read, freedom of ideas, freedom of communication. They are about education (which is not a process that finishes the day we leave school or university), about entertainment, about making safe spaces, and about access to information. - Neil Gaiman
