[aisle] alternative to To Kill A Mockingbird

Hi,

A 9th grade teacher has asked me for an alternative for a student to read
since she will not be reading* To Kill A Mockingbird*. Can you suggest
anything? It has to be 100% free of violence or trauma (she was abused as a
child and can't have any triggers).
