The AR program has an option for selecting books and printing AR labels for
them. I do this with every new AR book we purchase, or you can have your
vendor print them too. I color code the spine labels to reflect the book
level.
0.0-0.9 No color (white)
1.0-1.9 Pink
2s Green
3s Orange
4s Blue
5s Yellow
6+ No color (white)

I have yet to see any trouble with using the color coding system. It works
very well with 1st graders to help guide them to books in their reading
range.

I can provide you with step-by-step instructions on printing AR labels from
Renaissance Place if needed.
