[aisle] newbery pairs

Hello, all.
I am needing advice....

I am wanting to pair Newbery books together, thinking by genre and do a
March madness elimination bracket with classes.

 so far I have this...
picture book(undefeated and last stop)
scary(foxes and graveyard)
historical fiction(the upstairs room and the war that saved me)
 fantasy(when you trap a tiger and where the mountain meets the moon or
dragonwings)??

I am going to read the synopsis and first page to the class and let them
vote each week.

I welcome any ideas or thoughts!
