[aisle] What is this

[Mrs. Hamernick]

Cleaning things out.  This feels like soft velvet and has a peel of backing
to stick on something.  There are piles of them in one cabinet.  Anyone
have a clue what it might have been used for?  Partly curious to see if
it's from libraries of the past...and if I need to keep it!
