[aisle] Immediate opening for a school librarian

Dear Colleagues,

At the end of December, I will be leaving my job as the school librarian
here at St. Francis Xavier School in Wilmette. I have been the librarian of
this school for 7 1/2 years and it is an amazing learning community. I will
be heading back into public libraries to become a Youth Services Community
Engagement Manager thus leaving the vacancy. The school administration is
very supportive of the library program and there is a 25 hour a week
paraprofessional in the library to support the vibrant library program.
There is a robust library budget for materials and library programming such
as author visits, Battle of the Books and Global Read Aloud. In addition,
each staff member gets a generous amount of money yearly to participate in
professional development opportunities.
