[aisle] The Complete Tales of Uncle Remus - considering weeding/want feedback please

Hi!
There is an interesting history of Sengalese storytelling woven into the
controversial Uncle Remus book. I would weed the original 1880 stories and
possibly replace them with Compair Lapin, a new version that focuses on the
traditional Sengalese stories that were told by the enslaved people in New
Orleans.

I learned about the historical significance of B'rer Rabbit while visiting
the Laura Plantation, which strives to focus on the full story of "Creole
Heritage", rather than "ooo, a pretty house" like most plantation tours.
The Uncle Remus stories were first recorded here, and that historical
significance is the main reason the story and experiences of the enslaved
people on the plantation were able to be shared. It was fascinating to
realize this was the first, and for a long time-the only, plantation that
actually told what truly took place there.
