[aisle] Scholastic Book Fair Fuel Surcharge Meeting

Hi Everyone,
Thank you so much for sharing your personal experiences and thoughts with
me. With the AISLE conference approaching, I would like to bring the
information about Scholastic's unethical business practices to more
librarians and create a call to action. If you are interested in partnering
with me, please let me know by emailing me directly at klranftl at cps.edu.

Between this Listserve and two librarian Facebook groups, I've heard from
HUNDREDS of school librarians across the country who are upset with
Scholastic's business practices. So many school library budgets are funded
solely through fundraisers (another issue), and Scholastic's choices are
directly impacting our students.
