Hello!
We check out across schools as well.  We do it as an Inter-library loan.
As library administrator you should be able to place holds on books under
the student's name.  Then the other school can check it out to the students
directly and send it over to you.  If your students have access to view the
other school's catalog, you can give them the ability to place the hold
themselves.  Go to  ADMIN--> ACCESS LEVELS--> EDIT STUDENT-->  PATRONS-->
then check the box for "Place ILL for self from Catalog".
