[aisle] Glenview and Northbrook Now Giving Free Library Cards To All Children

Glenview and Northbrook have unincorporated areas that require families to
pay for their library cards.  Now, all children in these towns can get a
free library card, even if they live in the unincorporated areas!  Here is
our press announcement of this fabulous thing!

*September is library card sign up month. We are thrilled to share that

have waived non-resident fees for children ages 18 and younger in response
to Public Act 102-0843, which expands the Cards for Kids Act. With this
change, ALL students living in Glenview and Northbrook are now eligible for
FREE library cards, even if they reside in an unincorporated area!*
*To obtain a FREE library card, parents/guardians can visit the Northbrook
Public Library (if living in incorporated or unincorporated Northbrook) or
the Glenview Public Library (if living in incorporated or unincorporated
Glenview) with their child and present a valid Illinois state photo ID.*
*We appreciate our partnerships with the public libraries and look forward
to helping facilitate opportunities for all students to get library cards.
