[aisle] Local Illinois Author Visit from Fern Schumer Chapman

Good morning!

I wanted to give a great review for local Illinois author, Fern Schumer
Chapman.  I have hosted Fern at my school for the past six years.  She
comes to speak to our 8th grade students and share's the story of her
mother, Edith Westerfeld, a  holocaust refugee.  Fern provides excellent
primary source references during her presentation to students and also
connects her story to current world events to promote better understanding.

Many of Fern’s programs fulfill state requirements to teach the Holocaust.
All programs can be customized to the appropriate grade level.
