[aisle] Local Illinois Author Visit from Fern Schumer Chapman

We are hosting Fern in April. We have a large district with three
junior high buildings, so she is splitting the day with one grade level
presentation at each building. She will start at one building in the
morning, travel to the second building for a midday presentation and lunch,
then travel to the third building for an afternoon presentation. I'm sure
costs depend on travel distance and number of presentations, but the cost
for us is $425.00 per building.

I highly recommend her as well. We have hosted her in the past and have
always had fantastic experiences. She's engaging, compassionate and brings
a wealth of knowledge to the students. We time her presentations to go
along with our seventh grade WWII unit, so the kids are just glued to her
when she speaks.
