Anyone want to take a stab at what this book could be?

High School library, student checked it out three years ago. African American girl gets pregnant and is sent to live with her uncle and MAYBE aunt (she was sure about the uncle). She travels there by bus. There are all sorts of really strict rules for her to follow when she gets there. The cover was, she thinks, yellow with an image of the girl, and maybe a bus in the background.  She doesn’t remember what happened at the end – did the girl have the baby, or…

That’s all she remembers and it’s driving us nuts!
