We are continuing our focus on literacy (writ large) for our quarterly forums this year.  The winter forum will focus on media literacy and explore these questions:



  *   How has the media learning landscape changed for students in the past decades?   What has been the impact of the digital age on youth: the possibilities and the challenges? How have political, cultural, social, and technological shifts impacted learning?
  *   What are the connections between media literacy, civic life, and democracy?
  *   How can we help students navigate mis and dis-information they encounter?
  *   How educators can teach media literacy - cross subject matter, cross grades. How to incorporate media literacy into your curriculum.  Practical suggestions for your classroom.
