[aisle] Help with a book title

Hi!

I have a 5th grader looking for a title of a book...this is what she remembers...Dad and daughter live in a magical (or maybe haunted) house, Dad is some type of magician. One day dad made a bunch of pancakes and then made then disappear.

I know it is not much, so thanks in advance for helping out!
