<div dir="auto"><div dir="auto"> We send emails to students with mixed results, then 2nd notice emails, and finally 3rd and last emails (listing the replacement book cost & noting that parents will be contacted if the book isn't returned by a specific date (usually about half a week later). </div><div dir="auto"> We also send a list of "3rd,last" kids with book titles & costs to their LA teachers, as verbal reminders from a 2nd adult work wonders. </div><div dir="auto"> THEN, if no success, I email the parents asking them to encourage the book's return so that we won't have to place a book replacement fee on their child's acct. This is very effective, and when it doesn't work, the fee goes on the child's account. (If not before, the fee gets paid when they register in the fall.)</div><div dir="auto"> However, most of these emails are personally-generated, especially the parent one, not a Destiny thing.
