I have added Open Library times and encourage teachers to send their kids to the library on an "as needed" basis, but they are scrambling to find more instructional minutes. <div dir="ltr">I have a class of 23 4th graders who each check out up to 3 books per visit. I see them for 30 minutes. I struggle with getting them all checked out in time and with strategies for keeping them on task. On task meaning: locating a book, reading,
searching the OPAC, working on a worksheet, etc.
