<div>I had a teacher ask me this morning about book choices for lit circles with her honors freshman English classes. The books she came up with were
<i>Legend</i>, <i>The Handmaid's Tale</i>, <i>Shadow and Bone</i>, and <i>The City of Ember</i>. She is trying to have the focus of the study be post-apocalyptic novels, and I'm trying to think of some other options for her to think about, since
<i>City of Ember</i> has been reviewed for much younger grades and <i>Handmaid's Tale</i> might be too much for freshman (if you have experience with either of these choices in freshman classes please let me know how it went!).</div>
