I told her no but I would over the summer. She teaches 4th grade & thought maybe the content was a little strong. Not sure if you read it but it deals with racism, & profiling. The main character in the book gets shot because she reaches for her cell phone & the police thinks she (11 yr old) has a gun. Hi All! Does anyone have Blended by Sharon Draper in their K-5 library? I do and I’m getting concerns from teachers. I have not read it but plan to this weekend. It received glowing reviews and is recommended for grades 4-7 based on those reviews.
