<div><div dir="ltr">We renovated our K-4 library over the summer and I am the one that got rid of the big old circ desk. My assistant and I share a small 8x10 office way in the back of the library behind the Instructional Coach's office that has cabinets for storage and a counter. We have one of those small three tiered carts from Michaels loaded with our cataloging materials and we work from any table in the library. I love it. My assistant is getting used to it. <div>We needed our space to be multifunctional so any bookcases away from the walls are on wheels. We have 3 chromebooks on a mobile table as our self checkout station. Students search for materials with ipad minis that they can grab off of hooks on the wall. We have had nothing but positive reactions from students and teachers.</div><div><br></div><div>If your circ desk is your only place for storage I would fight for it.
