<div dir="auto">I got around some of this by creating a new patron type called "remote student". Gave them same parameters as regular student. Batch processed them into this patron type by homerooms. This also allowed me to turn on holds for books that were already in the library which I do not give to students who are at school. I was able to sort the spreadsheet by status, copy just the student ID #s into Notepad and save the file (it saves as a .txt file). In Destiny, go to Admin, Update Patrons, Based on = Barcode list or file, Select the User defined field you want to change in
the Change drop down and fill out the blank to what you want it be, then choose your file by Select a barcode file, and click update patrons.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
