They can be used collaboratively in all classes for projects and work with a variety of devices and programming languages. We've recently switched from 1970's era equipment to an app on an iPad (touchCast) which simplifies everything. Kids learn teamwork, attention to detail, and public presentation.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:"comic sans ms",sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:"comic sans ms",sans-serif">If the money is to be used in the library, you could invest in ebooks, and do some classes on using them. Also, audio books are great, along with some mp3 players to load them to. It's labor intensive for your staff, but the kids love them and pairing them with print books is a great literacy boost.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:"comic sans ms",sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:"comic sans ms",sans-serif">If the money is to be staff oriented, Karen's suggestion of doc cams is great.
