It was on display in the library during parent/teacher conferences. The parent was offended that this book was available to K-5 graders. The parent stated that they have no problem with members of the LGBT community, but that did not want her children exposed to it at such a young age. Sigh...</div><div><br></div><div>I am fortunate that my district is supportive of my addition of more diverse materials for our students and that it is part of our mission as a district. </div><div><br></div><div>I was wondering if anyone else has already seen issues with parents and this book?
