<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Since 2016, <b>we are</b> has hosted anti-racism summer camps for children in rising 1st-5th grade. Using a literacy-based approach, the organization helps children think about race, racism, skin color, and
activism in concrete ways. <b>we are </b>uses books to foster these conversations. Because the interest for their curriculum is high, they decided to create a two-day workshop to share their anti-racism framework and curriculum. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">This specific 2-day workshop will be designed for librarians who want to implement similarly designed curriculum and literacy engagement in their own contexts. Participants will understand how to chunk the
day to day lesson plans of the summer camps into activities that are suitable for the library context.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
