(teaching
how to use Google Docs -- open a Doc, name a Doc, find their Drive, change font, color, size)</li><li><i>ABC books </i>(choose a variety) -- then we pick a topic and write our own ABC book on Google Docs. Each student gets a letter of the alphabet and we do a few letters together as examples. Over the years we've written ABC books about Star Wars, Disney,
sports, our school, animals, pets, our town, colors, etc.</li><li><i>Why Should People Vote? </i>by Kristen Rajczak Nelson (any voting book), then learn to fill out a Google Form. We vote on fun things like favorite color, food, TV show. Or library things like which book we should read next, what is our favorite Monarch
book, etc. Bonus: students learn how to read a bar chart and a pie chart!</li><li>Looking up information in WorldBook Online after we've read a book and want to know more. And WorldBook Online has plenty of interesting "games", too!</li></ul>
