<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:small">Hi Denyse and other librarians,</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:small">OCLC membership at one time was required by the Illinois State Library to receive the annual per capita grant; this is no longer true.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:small">OCLC services (especially MARC records) can be very valuable. However, OCLC membership rates are often widely variable, increase a lot each year, and can be hard to justify.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:small">One option that my high school library is going to try next year is <a href="https://findmoreillinois.org/">Find More Illinois</a>, a statewide shared library catalog hosted by RAILS, a regional library system. Shared MARC records.
