<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif">At first, I used to put in Skyward "Lost Library Book: please check student email for title details" because this maintained the privacy of the high school patron (they receive multiple automated overdue notices via email). However, recently, I've just put the title in Skyward and added the following wording to my Library orientation and student handbook: "You will be notified of lost library materials via your student email. If an item is still overdue and unpaid at the end of the school year, the cost and title details will be added to your Skyward account." This gives the high school student time to either pay or have a discussion with me before those details are made known in Skyward. This cut down on the amount of back-and-forth I had to do to look up information since my library circulation system does not connect to Skyward. </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif">At the elementary level, I give teachers and parents all the title information all the time.
