And honestly, I'm trying to think of some middle school titles, but a lot of them have swear words as well as the "N" word too, so unfortunately, you might have to look even lower down to find books without anything. </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">Of course, I thought of <i>Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry,</i> but that for sure has the N word in it. But it is around the time the teacher is talking about so that is a plus.
