I have hosted Fern at my school for the past six years. She comes to speak to our 8th grade students and share's the story of her mother, Edith Westerfeld, a holocaust refugee. Fern provides excellent primary source references during her presentation to students and also connects her story to current world events to promote better understanding. </div><div><br></div><div><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">Many of Fern’s programs fulfill state requirements to teach the Holocaust.
