Hello!

I had author Margot Toppen present during our Family Reading Night in March
that I would like to recommend. Everything ran smooth and she did a great
job with the kids! And she is from the Chicago area, so not too far away
from many schools!  Here's some info about her book and visit opportunity.

Visiting author programs based on *JITTERBUGS! A dance-along story inspired
by real American Jitterbugs *provide a unique way to bring an arts learning
experience to students and families. This lively book integrates dance,
music and history, and provides an engaging theme for school-based author
visits, assembly programs, and Family Reading/Culture nights. Author Margot
Toppen has appeared at many schools and libraries, and she is also the
founder of Dancing with Class, a program which provides comprehensive dance
education programs to schools, serving more than 3,000 students per year.
