[ISLMA-Share] Online Databases

On the freebie side, you could try and check out the Directory of Open
Journals <https://doaj.org/>. However, from my experience most of the
content is at the college level or higher and not all of the journal
articles are in English. (But they are all peer-reviewed!)

I just did a quick search under the subject "Language and Literature" for
the term "Great Gatsby" and came away with 8 articles, so you might have to
play around with it. But I haven't seen any practical database cost less
than a few hundred dollars.
