I too headed up our PERA Joint Committee with our superintendent. MAPs
isn't an option for any of our teachers to use because it essentially could
set some teachers up for failure dependent upon their student population.
This is common for many of the districts in DuPage County that I have spoke
with through other workshops & presentations through ROE.

Student growth should only be used with students you directs teach and have
an impact on. Therefore your library curriculum should be used in either
Type II or Type III assessments.

We have 3 librarians in our district. I am exempt form student growth
because I do not have direct student contact due to flex scheduling. Our
other 2 librarians have direct classroom instruction time. They will use
their curriculum and assessments for their 30% growth measure.
