I found this dated 2016 from *Booklist*, where the "weeding" columnist
Veronica Vnuk turns her column over to a guest columnist Erin Downey
Howerton ("Erin Downey Howerton is Children’s Manager at Wichita Public
Library and a*Booklist *Advisory Board member. She’s also a champion
weeder, so when she told me she was doing a program on weeding for a local
library system, I jumped at the opportunity to have her as a guest
columnist for “Weeding Tips.” Take it away, Erin!")

I have some heavy weeding to do so I found it interesting. Also, if you
have Destiny as your OPAC, run your bottom 50 titles report until you're
satisfied with what appears for weeding. Another also - if you order
through Follett, run your collection through the Titlewise Collection
Analysis. Very helpful since it digs into your Dewey to find outdated
books.
