Hi Amy:
I work at a junior high (6-8) and we don't charge any fees for late books.
This works for us, students don't normally keep books much longer than the
due date, maybe a day or two late. We still use "due slips" on the back of
the book and we stamp it with the due date, I think that helps, otherwise I
think even I would forget when they are due! Another thing that gets them
to turn them in is the fact that they can't checkout new books if they have
books due. I hope that helps!
