[ISLMA-Share] Bar codes for chromebooks?

Our District asset tags all our computer hardware - desktops, laptops and
iPads - as well as peripheral projectors, external drives, etc. They come
and inventory once a year, and alert us to items they could not find. We
then use that list (which includes last known location) to track down the
items.

We have experimented with cataloging the items that circulate - laptop and
iPad carts - and have found it unworkable. If people want a cart, they come
and get it whether media staff are here or not, and they are usually in a
rush and don't check it out. We tried to make it easy - had a barcode for
the cart, and in the notes identified by barcode all the items on it, so
they just had to scan the cart - but it still didn't work.

Hope that helps - let me know if you have any questions!
