Message from a colleague at ALA. Please contact Jennifer Habley directly if you're interested in this opportunity.
My name is Jennifer Habley and I work with Shannon Carter, the AASL Affiliate liaison. We're looking for some help for the upcoming C2E2 conference<http://www.c2e2.com/> taking place April 21-23, 2017 at McCormick Place. The ALA booth at C2E2 has evolved into a pop up library. Instead of giving out information, we want to showcase what librarians do. The booth will have a browsing collection, readers advisory, reference "desk" and an activity space. ALA would also like to staff it with librarians - and especially school librarians. Are you already attending C2E2? Would you be willing to donate time or loan books to the booth? Or perhaps you're someone who wouldn't have been able to attend may want to go... ALA will have exhibitor badges to pass between the volunteers.
Thank you for considering!
